Healing for Families by Dr. Omolola OMOTESO Hymn All glory to the dying Lamb! I now believe in Jesus; I love the blessed Savior’s name, I love the name of Jesus. Sweetest note in seraph song; Sweetest name on mortal tongue; Sweetest carol ever sung: Jesus, blessed Jesus! Luke 8:50 Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” *Prayers + Prayer Points* 1. Thank God for Families Father, we thank you. Without your grace there can be no families especially in a world where classism, feminism and sexism makes upholding the tenents of familyhood challenging. A world where children can call the police on parents for being disciplined and wives can throw husbands in jail for not paying bills. We thank you that families continue to stand. 2. Bless Us With Courage We pray o Lord for the courage to always reach you for healing. Jairus reached you for the healing of his child and your response is one we need today. Help us not to be afraid in the middle of crisis or challenges. Take fear away from our minds as we put all our trust in you. 3. Help Us to Trust YOU Ancient of Days, we have assurance of healing. But there are times healing do not come as soon as we want it. Help us to trust your unfailing love. Whether you chose to heal us here or take us away to yourself where we need no healing, help us to trust and believe in your power to heal, save and deliver. 4. Save Families Lord Almighty Father, give us Christian homes. Destroy satanic hold on families and family life. Call families to the knowledge, wisdom and truth in your Word, not only for what we can benefit but as worthy vessels to worship and adore you.
