Uprooting Inordinate Affection

We give God Almighty the glory for He has helped us thus far in our prayers to put a stop to inordinate dealings. He is our strenght and the helper, may His name be greatly praised.

The Bible says "And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise". Philippians 4:8 NLT

We pray that heavens will help us to fix our thoughts on the acceptable relationship  as ordained by God.

We have been created to know the principles of right or wrong. May we be strengthened, may we be graced to discern and refrain from inordinate affection. Oh God, teach us and give us the grace to become homophobic. By the power of God, we will not do homosexuality. Those who have done and or planning to do, we pray that God will turn away thier eyes from it.

God's teachings are good teachings. We shall do good in His sight. May we keep putting into practise all we learnt and received from Him. God dislikes inordinate affection and so, we pray for the grace to abhor it.

"For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened". Luke 11:10 NLT.

And so, we ask that God will answer our prayers as we have come against inordinate affection in the name of God.
