Banishment of Early Death (5)

Good day all. 

Still praying on Banishment of Early Death we shall concentrate our prayers today on destroying another strategy adopted by the devil to terminate lives prematurely - Greed and Covetousness.

Many today have failed to realise that the destiny of individuals differs from one to another and that the race is not to the swift - Ecclesiastics 9:11 

They want to live big without having the patience to work hard enough to earn it. Their insatiable desires and pursuit for sudden wealth propels them into different abominable acts which often result in destruction of their lives and the lives of others untimely. 

The combination of greed and covetousness is very terrible because it will make a man to kill a fellow man all because of money, fame, position etc. Jeremiah 22:17 (But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.)

2 Peter 2:14 (They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!)

May the Lord intervene in Jesus name.

PRAYERS

Thank you Father, for you are the one that blesses a man and will not add sorrow to it.

Thank you for blessing all those who patiently wait on you.

Father, destroy the power of greed and covetousness in the life of every citizen of this country Nigeria in Jesus name.

Father, according to your word in Psalm 119:36 & 37, turn the mind of our youths away from the pursuit of vain and corruptible things and let their focus be on You continually oh Lord.

Good evening everyone, we are still going to be prayer along the line of greed and coveteouseness as a tool in the hand of the devil to cause early death.. 

The Bible says in 1Timothy 6:6 that godliness with contentment is great gain... 

PRAYERS

Let's once again appreciate the name of the Lord for his faithfullness in our lives and  in our nation.. 

Let's thank God because he always hears us and he's always watching over us. 

Let's ask that the Lord will give our youths the spirit of contentment and gratitude, that their hearts will understand the ways of the Lord.

Let's pray for our leaders too that they will have the fear of God and  contentment. 

Let's bind and cast out every spirit of greed and coveteouseness that is taking over our youth in Jesus name.

We pray that every spirit greed that is consuming our land lose its hold now in Jesus name.

We soak ourselves in the blood of Jesus.

In Jesus name we have prayed.
